S-Trap vs P-Trap

P-trap toilets connect directly to the wall, while S-trap toilets connect to the floor. If you want to install a wall-mounted toilet bowl, then the bowl should have a P shaped drain trap. As wall mounted toilets are hung on the wall using heavy duty bolts, they free up some floor space and make the area around the toilet easy to clean.
