They also won it for their debut album Innerspeaker in 2010. This makes them the first band to have won the J Award more than once, and the first band to have won a J Award for every album that they have ever released. Selected from 90 hours of recordings, Wings over America is a faithful account of the 1975-76 world tour that captures the band at it's peak. It was taped at several of the US shows, but mixed as if it were a single performance. Paul combined old Beatle favorites with highlights from a solo catalog that was now achieving real stature. Kacey describes this album as having a "trippy" twist, citing the Bee Gees, Sade, and Neil Young as influences.     Limited double vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release, the highly anticipated third full length album from the much loved Australian band. Currents is the follow up to 2012's Lonerism. Kevin Parker, the musician behind Tame Impala, explained that Currents is about the process of personal transformation. He said, "It follows the progression of someone feeling like they are becoming something else. They're becoming the kind of person they thought they'd never become." The cover art for Currents was created by Kentucky-based artist and musician Robert Beatty. Parker has said Currents' designs are based on a diagram of vortex shedding he remembered while trying to visualize the album's themes. Includes the single 'Let It Happen'.
